THE RILEY STORY

Not every athlete’s story starts with rankings, offers, or spotlight moments.
Some stories start with doubt.
Some start with being overlooked.
Some start with simply refusing to quit.
Riley Steinkuehler fell in love with basketball after watching The Professor on YouTube and realizing how much creativity, skill, and hard work could impact the game.
But the journey wasn’t easy.
“I trained more and cared more but there were still people that got more opportunities.”
There were moments of frustration.
Moments of doubt.
Moments where giving up felt easier.
But Riley stayed patient.
He kept working.
He kept believing.
Now, the same athlete who once felt overlooked is continuing his basketball journey at William Penn University on an athletic scholarship as the FIRST member of the MPRESSION Founding NIL Class of 2026.
“Sometimes even though success and all your goals aren’t coming true immediately doesn’t mean it can’t happen.”
UNDERDOGS HAVE STORIES TOO.
